I think it was meant to be served up but 
I like it- the large presence of amontillado sherry and the wee funk from the Swedish punsch are a win for me. The mezcal is mostly on the nose it seems. Would drink again…especially to make progress on this open sherry.

Sombra mezcal, to rinse
1½ ounces Ron Zacapa 23 rum
1 ounce Principe amontillado sherry
¾ ounce Amaro Nonino
¼ ounce Kronan Swedish Punsch
1 teaspoon Cane Sugar Syrup
Rinse a single old-fashioned glass with mezcal and dump. Stir the remaining ingredients over ice, then strain into the glass. No garnish.
