Pecan pie is my favorite pie. A good pecan pie is unbeatable. I was excited to see that Suderman included some pecan pie themed cocktails in this week’s newsletter. I don’t have the exact bottles he suggests, but pretty close. And it does taste pretty close to a pecan pie, especially on the finish.
This cocktail is a delight.
1 oz bourbon, Elijah Craig
1/4 oz Giffard Vanille (shout out Roxanna Liu for the sample)
1 tsp maple syrup
4 dashes Miracle Mile toasted pecan bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters
