This weeks #someonesaycocktails is a Random Ward original the elegant espresso Manhattan:

The history of this cocktail is simple, Random and I were R&Ding an event menu and he utters some pure genius “what if we combined the espresso martini, with the Manhattan” so we combined Caffé Borghetti, Punt E Mes, and Woodford Reserve Bourbon, it was way better than our wildest expectations.

What you’ll need:
Caffé Borghetti espresso Liqour (finest espresso/coffee product on earth with 160 years of history made on the world's largest mocha pot)
Punt E Mes (vermouth Amari, that’s one part sweet vermouth, one half part bitter amari)

Woodford reserve (great budget whiskey that plays well in cocktails)
Angostura bitters
The recipe for this one is super simple, but what it lacks in complexity when it comes to preparation it more than makes up for when it comes to taste.
In your shaker tin combine the following
2 Oz Woodford
1.0 Oz Caffé Borghetti
0.75 Oz Punt E Mes
Add ice and shake hard
Double strain into a chilled coupe/martini glass
Garnish with 3 coffee beans.

I can confidently say this is one of the BEST 3 ingredient cocktails I have ever tried. As a home bartender if you serve this for guests they’ll start to look at you like a pro.
