This is an easy modern classic called the Revolver originally by Jon Santer in San Francisco in the early 2000s. It’s a caffeinated twist on the Manhattan, and we use St. George NOLA coffee liqueur instead of vermouth.
2oz of bourbon (a high rye bourbon would work really well here I went with Woodinville bourbon because it made sense here)
0.5oz St. George NOLA coffee liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters
I also added 2 dashes of Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters…
Build in in a mixing glass, stir with ice & strain into a coupe. Garnish with a flamed orange twist…or a brûléed orange slice
